Talamaur: A living vampire found in Australia. This creature could communicate with the spirit world, making one of these spirits its servant, which it could then send among the living. One version of the Talamaur could send out its soul to drain the remaining life essence from a fresh corpse.

Yara-ma-yha-who:A beast-like creature from Aboriginal myth who lived in the fig and attacked anyone who passed or slept under their tree.  the creature would drink the victims blood, but not enough to kill it.   Sometimes it ate the victim whole and spit them back out later.  The more someone got attacked the more like the creature it became til eventually it totally transformed.
