Winifred "Fred" Burkle:[Genius] Born in Texas to Roger and Trish Burkle.  Fred was in LA studying to be a physicist when he was pulled into the dimension of Pylea where she is enslaved for five years. Angel saves her when he shows up to save Cordelia from the same fate.  Fred becomes and invaluable part of the team with her knowledge. She and Gunn broke up and she has her eyes set on Wesley.

With the mind wipe of connor though this gets pushed aside and she pursues a fellow scientist in her department at W &H.  His way of showing his adoration is by making her body the vessel for his God.  Once Illyria has taken over Fred is no longer in her Body

Illyria [God of Gods] brought back by its acolyte Knox into the shell that once belonged to Winnifred Burkle.  Illyria's plan of world domination is shattered when Knox is shot by Wesley.  Illyria becomes a team player of sorts, puzzled by humanity, their persistence to exist despite their frailities.  She does show some compassion at the time of Wesley's death, by allowing "Fred" to see him through to the end.
