The Watchers: Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Angel
Into each generation a Slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. One born with the strength and skill to fight the vampires, to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers. To see a list of all slayers mentioned in comics, Novels, Graphic Novels and the Show click Slayer Timeline in the buttons to the left. Since 1996 we have seen three slayers called forth. Buffy Anne Summers, native of Los Angeles, California, called at age 15 to battle the evils of the Hellmouth situated in the town of Sunnydale. Buffy died for a few minutes but then was brought back by Xander using CPR. Even though it was only for a few minutes, this tiny death called Kendra. Kendra was a native of Jamaica, though what region has yet to be determined. She went through the traditional slayer training and was a stark contrast to Buffy. She fell at the hands of Drusilla. Her death caused the calling of Faith. Faith is a native of Massachusetts. She had a few altercations that led her to become a rogue slayer. She was a guest of the L.A. Penal system until recently when she was needed to save L.A. from Angelus. When Buffy sacrificied herself in 2001, a new Slayer had not been called because Faith was still alive.
